Where does the scholarship money go when it’s won and what’s preventing anyone from spending it on something besides college? Can you spend scholarship money on going to vistit colleges as opposed to paying tutition or for books??
It depends on how the scholarship money is paid out. If you receive a check then they have no way of knowing what you spent the money on, but most will only send the scholarship money directly to the financial aid/admissions office of the school you are going to attend.
