  • How is Navy ROTC Scholarship money awarded?

Posted by admin on November 30th, 2009 and filed under scholarship money | 3 Comments »

I was recently told that I had a good chance of receiving the scholarship, as I’ve completed the officer interview and all other requirements. I was just curious how the money would be awarded, directly to the school or a financial aid bank account…? Thanks!

The tuition is paid directly to the school.

The book money and stipend is paid to you.

You have to pay for housing and food.

      Plus anything else.

It is awarded directly to the school, and your school will process it. This money is only your tuition and does not cover your housing food ect. all of that you still have to pay for. Your book money is deposited straight into your personal bank account, and your monthly stipend is also deposited into your personal bank account on the 1st and 15th of each month, which as a freshman it will be $125 twice a month.

Also what school did you apply to? You should go to Texas A&M and join company N-1.
