  • What is the easiest way to find scholarships?

Posted by admin on July 24th, 2010 and filed under scholarships | 2 Comments »

I do well in school with a cumulative GPA of 4.23 and a class rank of 4/210. I participate in community service, National Honor Society, Interact Club, and my Class Council. I also play piano and golf. How can I find scholarships for this? I want to be able to use a scholarship no matter what school I go to. I am interested in becoming an optometrist.

Congratulations on your achievements! You should get into a good college. The trick, of course, is to be able to finance your university education.

I recommend going on over to http://www.TopScholarshipBlog.com

You’ll find a lot of background information on the various types of scholarships available.

After you read through the information, click on the blue "Fast Web" button on the right hand column. There, you can enter in information about all of your activities, grades, test scores, and characteristics. You’ll immediately get a list of scholarships that you qualify to apply for. You’ll also be able to search the scholarship database on your own. This is a FREE service when you go through the link on the blog that I mentioned.

Either check the colleges that you’re interested in going to, ones that your school’s counseling center recommends, or go to fastweb.com!

Great for you! I’m sure any school would be lucky to have you. One of the easiest ways to access scholarships you qualify for is to register with a site like Careers and Colleges. It’s absolutely free, and when you input your information, you’ll be matched to scholarships that fit your specific needs. Good luck!
