Be sure to vote for me everyday at whoinspiresu.ca
Hello one and all, and thank-you for watching my entry for the 2009 WhoInspiresYou.ca video essay contest sponsored by tricyclen-lo!
My name is Amy Stetzl, *gasp* You now know my last name….
& I live in Kelowna, British Columbia, in the B-E-A-Utiful Canada.
So who inspires me you may ask? That would be my mother, the one and only woman who went through a few hours of pain to bring me into this world. She has done many wonderful things to help me reach for the stars and this video highlights my top four because I only have 180 minutes to explain.
What do I aspire to do? Well if you watch a portion of any of my videos in the past, I am an aspiring author – Children’s and Young Adult’s Fiction to be exact. I am actually currently in the process of writing my first book which will be targeted towards Young Adults. I am just writing when I have the free time at the moment and am only a portion through the book. No publishers, or contracts yet but I will do it! I promise.
What would I do with the money? The money would go towards my post-secondary education and if there was any left over after I have completed my Masters of Creative Writing, or perhaps even during (if the opportunity arises) it will also go towards publishing my first book which I am in the process of writing. I have a strong intuition that this may be my first shot at the big deal and am extremely excited. Of course if an opportunity with a publisher does not arise then it will go towards helping me fund my Masters of Creative Writing.
Hope you enjoyed my video! & Thank-you for considering me for the WhoInspiresYou.ca Video Essay Contest, sponsored by tri-cyclen*lo !
