    The 61% Challenge

Posted by admin on December 5th, 2011 and filed under college funding | 2 Comments »

An anonymous graduate has pledged to donate $610,000 to Centre College if 61% of the College’s alumni make a gift of any amount before June 30th.

You can make a donation in one of two ways.

1.) Write a check to Centre College Annual Fund and mail it via “snail mail” to campus.

2.) Pay by credit card. You can either visit gifts.centre.edu or call 1-877-678-9822.

Remember, if you’ve already made a gift for this year, it won’t bring our participation percentage up any more, but of course…any gift is profoundly appreciated.

Posted by admin on November 8th, 2011 and filed under college funding | No Comments »

Watch this video to see what might happen at Saint Michael’s College when tuition runs out…

FACT: Tuition revenue makes up 85 percent of the cost to educate an SMC student for the full academic year. The remaining 15 percent, or $6,000 per student, is funded by alumni, parents, friends and other funding sources.

March 25 is the day tuition stops paying for students to be here. St. Mike’s is thankful for the generous support of our alumni, parents and friends.
