n November 2010 the Origin Foundation announced its support for the first Australian Fulbright scholarship for the not for profit sector.
U.S. Ambassador Mr Jeffrey Bleich officially launched the Fulbright Professional Scholarship in Non-Profit Leadership at an event held in Sydney.
The scholarship is a joint initiative of the Australian-American Fulbright Commission, the Australian scholarships Foundation and Origin Foundation.

Rethink Scholarship at Langara 2011 Call for Entries
For the third year in a row, Langara College and Rethink are offering an $18,000 scholarship to aspiring art directors and designers. The lucky winner will receive full tuition for Langara College’s two-year Communication and Ideation (CID) program and an internship at Rethink.
Creatives are invited to submit a black hardcover sketchbook showcasing their creativity. The winner will be selected by members of Rethink and Langara College and will be judged according to the following criteria: clarity, relevance, fresh thinking, and the quality of ideas, craft, and execution. All books must be submitted by July 1, 2011.

FULBRIGHT: A prestigious yet achievable award

The Fulbright Program is one of the most prestigious awards programs worldwide involving over 180 countries. Since 1963, almost a thousand Malaysian have been recipients of this world-renown award including Marina Mahathir, Ramli Ibrahim, Mr. Lewis Pragasam and Senator Koh Tsu Koon.
The Malaysian-American Commission on Educational Exchange (MACEE) established in 1963 promotes inter-cultural understanding through education and educational exchange between Malaysia and the United States.
This merit-based grants for international educational exchange is for students, scholars, teachers, professionals, scientist and artists founded by United States Senator J. William Fulbright in 1946. To date, over a quarter of a million people have participated in the Fulbright Program worldwide.
